SEMINAR
Organic Elements in Glass (Sticks 'n Stones)
Learn to place elements such as sticks, sea shells and found objects in a panel for a pleasing design. Begin with rolled-edge glass, complementary glass, rondel, wire, decorative soldering techniques and finish with a unique wall or window hanging. Glass, sticks, one rondel, nuggets, copper wire, and one copper foil sheet will be provided. Bring cutting tools and soldering tools and supplies including solder ( You may also bring solder scraps and solder balls to use up.), flux, copper foil tape (wide if you have it), and any small found objects you might wish to include in your piece. You can even use small rubber toys, ceramic pieces, etc.

Cost for construction materials, including bevels, is approximately $150. Cost for the shade depends on your glass choice. Bring your tools and supplies. If you have not seen this beautiful lamp, come by and see it. It is contemporary, elegant, and extremely expensive looking. You may cut your cost of materials by making the base shorter.

Using copper foil sheets, specialized creative soldering, standout rondels and found objects on a wooden base, create an artful wall shield. Wood, hangers and hanging wire, and rondels, nuggets, and one two copper foil sheets are provided. You may bring any found objects with you to include in your creation. Bring soldering tools and supplies, including solder, copper foil tape (wide if you have it), and flux.
